MATHIFLO WINERY DOMAIN
Located in Provence, in Vaucluse, at the buttress of Dentelles de Montmirail and Mont Ventoux, in the small village of Suzette in the heart of appellations Beaumes-de-Venise, Côtes du Rhône and Côtes du Ventoux.
An exceptional terroir:
2012 was the starting for the creation of our Domain from the union of two heritages.
With work from generation to generation, every family has retained a heritage composed of productive “lands”.
These lands located on an exceptional terroir benefit a permanent sunshine combined with short rains fall, it’s ideal for the vines.
In our hills mistral is a valuable ally to chase disease and rot vine thereby reduce harmful treatments and return to the environment.
Beaumes-de-Venise, a renowned vineyard
Spread over six villages : Suzette, La Roque-Alric, Lafare, Beaumes-de-Venise, Le Barroux and Saint Romain, our vineyard consists of various varieties.Parcels of old vines (Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre) and more recent plantations (Carignan, Cinsault) for develop red wines.
We also have 3 ½ acres of “Muscat petits grains” producing an excellent “Muscat de Beaumes de Venise” and a very fruity white wine. The grapes are harvested by hand and we chose to be in “agriculture raisonnée”.
